Social and Health Services in Kymenlaakso (Kymsote)

Kymsote, a joint municipal authority for Kymenlaakso social and health services, started its operations on 1 January 2019. Kymsote arranges and produces equal and easily attainable social and health services for all residents in Kymenlaakso. Kymsote aims at the best customer experience and focuses on preventive, high-quality, and cost-effective services. Kymsote is an operator of the future, its objective being that the people of Kymenlaakso are active and healthy in various life situations.

The joint municipal authority comprises Hamina, Kotka, Kouvola, Miehikkälä, Pyhtää and Virolahti. Kymsote employs approximately 6000 professionals in different fields. They serve the 170,000 residents in Kymenlaakso.
